Module 4: Promoting Oral Health

Overview

Module 4 discusses steps for health professionals and early childhood professionals to help prevent or reduce the risk for tooth decay. It provides information for health professionals about conducting an oral health risk assessment and screenings. The module discusses anticipatory guidance for professionals to share with parents and providing referrals to a dentist for early intervention and/or treatment.
